Celebrating our victories
A seven-time winner and the heart of our syndicate, Ravilious was tragically lost after a courageous second at Fairview on 31 July 2026. He shared a special bond with Bavish Soodoo, giving the young rider his first win as an apprentice — our thoughts are with Bavish as he fights his own brave battle. Run free, champ.
Trainer: Jacques Strydom
Maiden winner on October 25 at Durbanville under jockey Sifisokuhle Bungane

The big moments that define our journey
Kazenoyoni has been bought by international buyers from Hong Kong and will continue his racing career there. His new connections see him as a future international star, which is a proud moment for every SAPFS member who shared in his remarkable juvenile season.
The syndicate is heartbroken to share that Ravilious was fatally injured after the line in his final race at Fairview, where he had just run a courageous second. Our thoughts are with jockey Bavish Soodoo, who was injured in the incident, and with everyone who loved this brave gelding.
