Kazenoyoni Bound for Hong Kong

Kazenoyoni, the SAPFS-owned son of Danon Platina trained by Duncan Howells
Kazenoyoni — from Scottsville maiden winner to Grade 1 runner-up, and now on his way to Hong Kong.

We are delighted to announce that Kazenoyoni has been bought by international buyers from Hong Kong, and will continue his racing career there. His new connections view him as a future international star.

It is a fitting next chapter for a colt who gave the syndicate so much in a single season. Kazenoyoni broke his maiden at Scottsville in March 2026 and then ran second in the Juvenile Plate at Scottsville and the Gatecrasher Stakes at Greyville. In July he carried the SAPFS colours into a Grade 1 for the first time in the syndicate's history, going down by just 0.30 lengths in the Premiers Champion Stakes at Greyville.

Attracting interest from one of the world's premier racing jurisdictions is a remarkable endorsement of this horse, and of the team behind him. Our thanks go to trainer Duncan Howells, to jockeys Craig Zackey, Andrew Fortune and Muzi Yeni, and to Moutonshoek, who bred him.

Kazenoyoni's full record and race history will remain on this site, so members can relive the season that put SAPFS on the Grade 1 map. We will be following his progress in Hong Kong closely and will share news of his runs there.

Good luck, Kazenoyoni. Go and become that international star.
